Christian is one of the founders of the new “Bahnhof Blo – Bouldercafé”  boulder gym in Wuppertal, Germany and as part of his role as CEO at Climb-Inn also the Managing Director of the DAV Climbing Centre, the Wupperwände.

With HardMoves Boulder League being the brainchild of his 30 years of climbing and business experience within the European climbing scene, Christian’s extensive knowledge and ability to network within the industry helped HardMoves become one of the biggest bouldering competitions in the world in 2013 & 2016.

These days he also spends a lot of time working closely with the German Alpine Association (DAV) developing concepts and standards for the industry and has been working as a consultant to support business owners to open and operate successful climbing gyms around Germany and Europe.
