Dave has been climbing obsessed for over 20 years since starting to climb in his local Granite quarry in Dublin. Dave has experience of working in many different climbing facilities and in various capacities: instructor, outdoor leader, route setter, coach, trainer,  duty manager and now director and wall owner.

Owning and operating Ireland’s largest two commercial climbing gyms for over 7 years has provided Dave with some unique insight into facility design, planning, construction, operation, HR and insurance. Of particular interest to Dave is the concept of fostering a sense of community amongst the local climbers and actively growing the local population of members
