Tonde Katiyo is an international route setter and an international personality in general. Born in Paris, he moved to Zimbabwe where he started climbing at the age of 12.

Later on, Tonde moved to Canada to study art and got his first route setting certification. Ever since he has been doing commercial route setting for competitions and climbing gyms worldwide. With 13 international competitions and over 30 nationals, Tonde is one of the most experienced route setters world wide. Besides competition and commercial route setting, he’s been also leading route setting instruction courses worldwide since 2009.
