Harald is in charge of all technical advice and guidance about safety related stuff at the Dutch Climbing and Mountaineering Federation NKBV besides a lot of other responsabilities.

Together with colleagues from Dutch climbing gyms he started the Dutch Indoor Climbing Safety Workgroup where indoor climbing/bouldering safety issues are discussed and managed. As a flat country without any rock within its borders Dutch climbing evolves around plastic holds.

Harald is a fanatic climber and mountaineer with over 25 years of experience and extensive knowledge of most climbing/mountaineering related activities. He hopes to sneek in a bit of Bulgarian limestone before or after the WICS as well.
